Dear friends, sisters, and mothers of peace!

I am excited to announce our upcoming Global Women's Peace Network event, "Tis the Season to be Thankful", hosted by the DMV capital area on Thursday, December 9th, at 7:30 PM EST. 

In the spirit of the holidays, as our last event of the year, we wanted to create a festive program with music and a special arts and craft demonstration! Join Karen O. Brown, professional artist and arts educator, as she shows us how to craft a beautiful accordion book that we can fill with messages of gratitude. 

We also want to acknowledge that 2021 has been a challenging year, and the holidays can be an extra stressful or even lonely time. We hope that this evening can uplift you and help you reflect on what there is to be thankful for.
